On April 4, 2026, a Cleaning Drive was conducted at the sapa (creek) located in the lower part of Sitio Buhanginan, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City. The activity was organized by FFWPU–Antipolo Youth in collaboration with HTG Korea and ABCD, with the participation of youth volunteers, local leaders, and community members.

The main purpose of the activity was to clean the creek by removing accumulated garbage that contributes to a dirty environment and creates an unhealthy living place for the residents. Various types of waste such as plastics, wrappers, and other debris were found in the area, which could lead to pollution and possible health risks if not addressed.

The activity began with a short orientation where participants were guided on safety and proper waste handling. Afterward, volunteers were assigned to different sections of the creek and worked together to remove all visible garbage. Using sacks and gloves, they carefully collected and gathered the waste to ensure that the creek would be cleared and restored as much as possible. The teamwork and cooperation among participants made the activity effective and meaningful.

By the end of the Cleaning Drive, a large amount of garbage had been removed, significantly improving the cleanliness of the creek. While the group worked diligently to remove as much waste as possible, the activity was limited by time, and not all areas of the creek were fully cleaned. Despite this, the participants felt grateful for the opportunity to help improve the surroundings and serve the brothers and sisters of Sitio Buhanginan.

This activity emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness in natural water sources and showed how simple collective actions can help create a healthier environment. The participants expressed their commitment to continue supporting similar initiatives and to encourage others to take part in keeping their community clean and safe.
