This weeks, the Blessing and Family Department conducted a regional education seminar on the theme of the Nuclear Family and the Extended Three-Generation Family. The seminar focused on True Parents’ vision of the Blessed Family and the importance of grandparents, parents, and children living as one family whenever possible. Participants reflected on the value of the Three Great Kingships and the Three Generations tradition, recognizing that the family is not only a place of love, but also the primary school of heart where faith, character, and tradition are naturally passed from one generation to the next.

The seminar also addressed contemporary social challenges facing young adults, especially Generation Z. We discussed how many young people postpone marriage because of housing costs and financial insecurity. At the same time, we reflected on the reality that millions of homes around the world remain vacant as housing is increasingly treated as an investment rather than a place for families to live. True Parents’ tradition of extended families and mutual support offers a practical alternative by reducing financial burdens, strengthening family bonds, and helping young couples begin family life with greater stability.

A major topic of discussion was the role of Matching Supporters. It was emphasized that their responsibility should not end with introducing a couple. Before the Blessing and the establishment of a new family, Matching Supporters should personally visit the future home, carefully assess the living environment, and help create suitable conditions for the couple’s new life. Whenever possible, they should assist with practical needs such as painting walls, basic home repairs, purchasing essential household appliances, installing internet access, or providing other necessary support. The spirit behind this ministry is to care for every Blessed couple as parents would care for their own sons and daughters, helping each family begin on an equal and stable foundation.

As part of this ministry, the department continued supporting a Kazakhstan–Thailand Blessed couple preparing to establish their family in Kazakhstan. Comprehensive consultation was provided regarding visa procedures, legal marriage registration in Kazakhstan, residence permit requirements, and preparation of apostilled documents before the bride’s arrival. The team also visited the groom’s hometown to inspect the future home, discuss practical improvements, and assist with preparing the house so the couple can begin their family life in a warm and welcoming environment.

Now I understand that building a Blessed Family also means preparing the environment where love can grow. When my matching  supporter visited the future home and helped with simple things like painting and preparing the house, I felt very happy and my heart became full of heavenly gratitude because I witnessed that my matching supporters were practicing True Parents’ tradition in a real way. It reminded me that a Blessed Family is never built alone. It grows through unconditional true love, responsibility, and sincere investment of the whole community. I hope we can continue creating this culture for every new couple in Central Asia.”
