The UPF NZ group met on 27 March with seven members in attendance to align on the programme’s direction and delivery approach for the coming 12 months. Discussion focused on agreeing the outcomes the programme must deliver and the practical success indicators that will be used to track progress from early momentum-building activities through to major milestones.

Members also emphasised the importance of an annual calendar of anchor dates integrated with relevant UN observances to strengthen coherence and legitimacy. The meeting reviewed a phase-by-phase roadmap and reinforced the need for clear programme architecture—governance, workstreams, roles, and decision rights—to support consistent delivery.
