The Peace Literature Assembly – New Year Spring Festival (Basanta Utsab) was successfully held on April 13, 2026, at the FFWPU Nepal Headquarters in Kathmandu, with approximately 100 participants from the fields of literature, arts, and social sectors.

The program featured a variety of activities, including poetry recitations, cultural performances, and the sharing of peace messages. These elements highlighted the important role of literature, art, and culture in promoting peace, coexistence, and social harmony within society.

A key highlight of the event was the recognition of distinguished individuals as “Ambassadors for Peace,” honoring their significant contributions to peacebuilding and the betterment of society. This recognition added a meaningful dimension to the program, inspiring participants to actively contribute to positive social change.

The Peace Literature Assembly was also designed as a special witnessing initiative to connect members of the literary community to True Parents. Through this platform, participants were able to engage with the values and vision of the Peace Movement in a meaningful and accessible way.

Overall, the event served as an effective platform for inspiring positive social awareness, strengthening cultural and interfaith harmony, and enhancing the public presence of the Peace Movement in Nepal. It also reaffirmed the commitment to continue organizing such meaningful and impactful initiatives in the future.
