Throughout the week, members of the Regional Training Center faithfully attended the daily Cheon Shim Won prayer devotion from Monday through Friday. This spiritual discipline complemented the regular daily Hoon Dok Hae sessions, serving as a source of strength, reflection, and guidance for all participants. Through consistent prayer and study of the Word, members deepened their spiritual commitment and renewed their determination to fulfill their responsibilities in the providence.
The week began with a meaningful outreach visit to an HTM family residing in the hinterlands of Iligan City. During this visit, Head Pastor Sylvia Deapera exemplified the principle of “witnessing as a way of life” by actively participating in the family’s daily farming activities, particularly in peeling corn cobs. Through this simple yet heartfelt act of service, she demonstrated that true ministry is expressed not only through words but also through practical love, humility, and solidarity with families in their everyday lives.
Later that day, Hon. Teresita Jumawan, BFD Area 5 Coordinator, commenced the Mindanao-wide Area Visitation, which began in Northern Mindanao. The visitation included a collaborative meeting with pastors and local Blessed Family Department (BFD) leaders to discuss ministry updates, strengthen coordination, and foster greater unity among the Blessed Families in the region.
This was followed by a visit to the Iligan Blessed Family Education Center, where Blessed Families were empowered and encouraged to become Matching Reporters. The session emphasized the importance of documenting and sharing testimonies, activities, and success stories that can inspire others and contribute to the growth of the Matching and Blessing movement.
On Wednesday, the team proceeded to Cagayan de Oro City to purchase school supplies intended for a school beneficiary in preparation for the upcoming Brigada Eskwela program scheduled for the following week. On May 30, participation in the BFD Moshim program provided an avenue for fellowship, spiritual growth, and organizational strengthening. A significant presentation was also presented by Area Director Francis Nolasco of the Asia-Pacific HTF, who traveled by car from Laguna to General Santos City. His dedication and commitment to supporting the mission in Mindanao served as an inspiration to all participants. The meeting focused on ministry developments, future plans, and strengthening the Blessed Family movement throughout the region.
In the evening of May 30, the entire Mindanao team gathered for a fellowship and recreation activity at J Hills Golf Course in General Santos City. The event was graced by Area Director Hon. Nobue Morioka Caballero and Asia-Pacific HTF Director Francis Nolasco, together with the young participants who had recently completed the 7-Day Divine Principle Workshop facilitated by the General Santos Regional Training Center staff under the leadership of Head Pastor John Bastol.
Set against the serene backdrop of the golf course, participants enjoyed the refreshing atmosphere, cool evening breeze, and peaceful natural surroundings. The outing provided a valuable opportunity for relaxation and fellowship following several days of intensive training, meetings, and ministry activities.
The young participants enthusiastically engaged in golf-related recreational activities and shared refreshments, creating a joyful environment that strengthened friendships and fostered greater unity among the youth. Their energy and enthusiasm reflected the positive impact of the recently concluded Divine Principle education program.
Meanwhile, the senior leaders and elders took advantage of the gathering to conduct meaningful discussions and strategic consultations regarding the ongoing development of the mission and future initiatives in Mindanao. The informal setting encouraged open communication, deeper reflection, and collaborative planning among the leadership team.
The evening concluded with a renewed sense of unity, purpose, and commitment among all participants. Beyond recreation, the gathering served as an important occasion for intergenerational fellowship, leadership consultation, and the cultivation of stronger relationships among Blessed Families, leaders, and young members throughout the region.
