Nepal: 13th Anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa Memorial Special Lecture Program

The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU)-Nepal, in collaboration with the Universal Peace Federation (UPF)-Nepal, successfully organized the 13th Anniversary of the Universal Seonghwa Memorial Lecture in honor of Dr. Sun Myung Moon, the founder and a global peace leader. The program was held at the Peace Embassy Building, Naxal, Kathmandu, with the participation of more than 210 attendees, including FFWPU Blessed Families, interfaith leaders, dignitaries, Peace Ambassadors, and youth members, who gathered to celebrate Rev. Moon’s enduring legacy of peace and harmony.

Rev. Krishna Adhikari, South Asia Regional Director and National Leader of FFWPU-Nepal, offered special remarks and introduced the keynote speaker, Prof. Mahendra P. Lama of Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. Prof. Lama delivered the memorial lecture, highlighting Dr. Sun Myung Moon’s vision, philosophy, and peace-building contributions. He emphasized Dr. Moon’s teaching that world peace begins with the family, reflecting on his lifelong dedication to interfaith harmony and global peace. He introduced that Rev. Sun Myung Moon is a Global Peace Leader who got reveled from God and came to established World Peace and Harmony. Special tribute messages were also conveyed by Members of Parliament Hon. Tara Lama Tamang and other distinguished figures. The program concluded with closing remarks by Hon. Milan Rajbanshi, Secretary General of UPF-Nepal.

The entire ceremony was skillfully conducted by Adv. Bishnu Nischal, Editor of The Universal Times and peace activist, serving as the Master of Ceremony. The memorial event not only paid homage to Father Moon’s life and achievements but also reaffirmed the shared commitment of participants toward peace, unity, and Spiritual transformation in human lives.
