In the first quarter of 2025, the Solomon Islands Honiara Church was honored with an Exemplary Church Award in recognition of its outstanding mission work and contribution to Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ providence, especially in preparation for the opening of the Cheon Won Gung Temple. On behalf of the Solomon Islands Providence, National Leader Rev. Norman Pitabelama received the award.

This accomplishment is the result of the united efforts of FFWPU SI members and leaders. On behalf of Honiara Church, Rev. Pitabelama expressed deep gratitude to Asia Pacific Continental Director Rev. Masayoshi Hori and Vice Continental Director Rev. Yutaka Yamada for their continuous guidance, prayers, and support toward the Solomon Islands Church. He also extended thanks to the FFWPU SI Executive Team, pioneer couple Mr. Valere and Mrs. Nellie Masuaku for their steadfast support, as well as to the Blessed Families, youth commanders, youths, and children whose commitment, prayers, and dedication brought about this remarkable result.
