From May 28 to June 6, 2026, a successful 10-Day Tong Il Moo Do (TIMD) Workshop and Promotion Training was conducted in the Province of Capiz under the supervision of Mr. Rex Hangor, TIMD Regional Director, and Mr. Jhon Lloyd Belmonte, TIMD Regional Instructor. The program was designed to develop the participants’ technical skills, physical fitness, discipline, character, and leadership through intensive martial arts training and value-centered education.

The workshop sessions were held daily in Barangay Hanglid, President Roxas, Capiz, providing an ideal environment for focused learning and practice. Upon completion of the training phase, the official promotion testing and recognition ceremony were successfully conducted in Pilar, Capiz.

A total of 17 active new participants, ranging from 9 to 19 years old, took part in the program. The diverse age group created a positive atmosphere of teamwork, mentorship, and mutual support among the practitioners. Throughout the ten-day training, participants learned fundamental and advanced Tong Il Moo Do techniques, forms, sparring skills, physical conditioning, and character education.

In addition to martial arts instruction, the participants attended a Divine Principle Seminar presented by Rev. Carlo Niño Bartolo of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. The seminar provided spiritual guidance and emphasized the importance of living a life centered on Heavenly Parent and practicing values of true love, responsibility, and service. 

The participants demonstrated outstanding dedication and perseverance throughout the workshop, resulting in a 100% completion rate. The event concluded with a successful promotion test, where all participants advanced to their respective ranks. This achievement marks another important milestone in strengthening the Tong Il Moo Do movement and raising future leaders of character and faith.

This workshop stands as a significant achievement for the local Tong Il Moo Do community and serves as an inspiration for future training programs. Reflection of Ms. Romylyn Dioleste

I am Romylyn Dioleste, a Brown Belt practitioner of Tong-Il Moo Do Martial Arts. My passion for Tong-Il Moo Do goes beyond personal training; it is also my desire to share its values and teachings with others, especially the younger generation. Through this martial art, I have learned the importance of discipline, perseverance, respect, and living a life centered on strong moral values.

Because of this passion, I was inspired to organize the 10-Day Tong-Il Moo Do Workshop and Promotion Training, which was conducted from May 26 to June 6, 2026, in Barangay Hanglid, President Roxas, Capiz. With the support of the Tong-Il Moo Do Regional Office and the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Iloilo Church, the program was successfully carried out and benefited many young participants.

As my personal contribution to the activity, I offered our family home as the training venue and accommodation for the instructors and staff members. Although organizing the workshop required significant preparation and sacrifice, I felt great joy seeing the participants grow in both skill and character throughout the training.

This experience strengthened my commitment to continue promoting Tong-Il Moo Do and helping young people develop discipline, confidence, and a heart of service. I am grateful to Heavenly Parent, True Parents, the instructors, and all those who supported this meaningful program. Aju.
