The past fourteen days represented a harmonious blend of internal spiritual cultivation and external local church expansion. By balancing the vertical duty of honoring parents with the horizontal mission of pastoring and educational training, our local church has seen a significant strengthening of its foundational core. This period was not merely about completing tasks, but about breathing life into our organizational vision through presence and personal touch.
Dedicated time was spent in the homes of our members in Iligan. These visits served to provide direct spiritual nourishment, listen to the heartbeat of our families, and ensure that every member feels the warmth and support of the local church leadership.
A visit to my hometown to spend time with my physical parents served as a vital personal and spiritual reset. By practicing filial piety at home, we reinforce the integrity of the values we preach throughout the local church area.
A cornerstone of this period was the successful conduct of a 5-Day Divine Principle Workshop, hosting 9 dedicated participants.
The workshop benefited from the profound sights of Loreta Mayo and our local Center Leader, whose lectures provided the clarity and spiritual depth necessary for internal transformation.
The intimate group size allowed for deep engagement, ensuring that these nine individuals are now better equipped to serve as pillars within their respective communities.
Simultaneous to our spiritual education, we focused on organizational and leadership development through TIMD Training.
This 5-day intensive training sharpened the leadership acumen of our staff and participants, aligning our professional operations with our spiritual mission.
The Northern Mindanao Training Center was filled with the joy of family as members brought their children and relatives for fellowship. This open-door atmosphere has transformed the center into a true home for our holy community.
In a powerful display of support for our members’ diverse achievements, a formal Send-Off Ceremony was held in Talakag for a dedicated practitioner attaining his Black Belt. This ceremony highlighted our commitment to supporting the whole person—mind, spirit, and physical discipline.
These two weeks have proven that while administrative deadlines are important, the living work of the mission—visiting a sick member, honoring a parent, or cheering on a martial artist—is what builds a lasting legacy. We have successfully moved from the classroom to the home, and from the altar to the training hall, weaving a tapestry of unity across Northern Mindanao.
We emerge from these two weeks with a rejuvenated spirit and a clear path forward. The participants are enlightened, the youth are engaged, and our regional leaders are more connected to the families they serve than ever before. We move into the next period with full momentum, ready to translate this spiritual harvest into continued church growth and development.
