The FGD New Year Celebration was held over two days, December 31, 2025, to January 1, 2026, centered at the Working Youth Center in Sampaloc, Manila, marking both the close of the year and the welcoming of a new beginning. The celebration reflected a natural and heartfelt collaboration among the working youth, the FGD local community, and the Heavenly Top Gun (HTG) teams, who came together voluntarily, bringing food, gifts, and shared efforts to celebrate as one community.

The first day began with participation in the Cheon Shim Won Vigil, allowing members to prepare their hearts through reflection and prayer as they concluded the year. This was followed by the Welcoming of the New Year, celebrated in a joyful and meaningful atmosphere. Community members shared food and fellowship, expressing gratitude for the year that had passed and hope for the year ahead. In keeping with local custom, the celebration concluded late in the evening with fireworks from throughout the surrounding neighborhood, symbolizing renewal, joy, and collective celebration with the wider community.

During the program, Mr. Jun Young Teves, Director of the Future Generation Department of FFWPU Philippines, delivered a message encouraging participants to enter the new year with renewed faith, determination, and a spirit of service. The program also included a writing activity of repentance and determination, where participants reflected on their personal growth over the past year and set intentions for the coming year. These reflections were offered through a burning ceremony, symbolizing a fresh start. A moment of recognition and appreciation was held to honor those who supported FGD activities throughout the year.

This celebration also served as a farewell gathering for the HTG Korea team, as Mr. Teves would be departing ahead of them for a 40-day mission in Korea and would not be present to personally send them off. The gathering allowed the community to express gratitude and unity with the HTG members before their departure.

On the second day, as single youth members returned to their families, the elder and family youth gathered for a focused discussion on the adoption and support of Aralay scholars and working youth, particularly through financial assistance and long-term community backing. Both HTG Japan and HTG Korea members were able to attend this meeting. During this time, Mr. Jun Young Teves shared crucial mission updates and direction before his travel to Korea, helping align support, responsibility, and cooperation moving forward.

Overall, the FGD New Year Celebration was more than a festive gathering; it was a meaningful conclusion of the year, a heartfelt farewell, and a strategic redetermination for the year ahead—strengthening unity among youth, families, and missionaries as the community entered 2026 with shared purpose and commitment.
