The Sung Hwa Year-End Workshop 2025 was successfully conducted from December 27 to 30, 2025, at Sun Hwa International Academy (SHIA), gathering a total of 65 Blessed Children, including participants and staff, from regions nationwide, with representation from Mongolia and Russia. Spearheaded by the Philippine Blessed Children Department (PBCD), the four-day workshop was anchored on the theme “Let us become Pure Water united with Holy Mother Han!” and the external theme “Be the True Owner of My Community. You’re not alone, You belong,” and served as a meaningful year-end retreat that allowed participants to reflect on their year, strengthen their faith, and renew their commitment to Heavenly Parent and True Parents as they prepared for the coming year.
The workshop aimed to guide participants toward becoming Pure Waters, individuals who can ripple true love and goodness to the world. It sought to help them deeply feel Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ shimjeong, rediscover their identity and value, and cultivate a sense of ownership toward their local Blessed Children communities. Through various physical and spiritual activities, lectures, and group sharings, participants were encouraged to grow not only as individuals but also as active contributors to the providence.
Participants were guided through a series of lectures delivered by dedicated leaders, all of whom hold great hope for the future generation. On the first day, Rev. Edgar Tanate, Director of the Spirituality, Leadership, Development, and Education Department, delivered the lecture titled “Never Ending Story,”, focusing on inner growth, overcoming fallen nature, and developing spiritual resilience. On the second day, Dr. Julius Malicdem, Vice Continental Director of FFWPU Asia-Pacific, led lectures on Blessed Children Identity and Current Providence, helping participants understand their value, identity, and purpose, as well as their role in today’s providence. This was followed by a lecture on The Value of Community Building by Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, Regional Director of FFWPU Philippines, which emphasized unity, responsibility, and love within the Blessed Children community. On the third day, Mrs. Hiromi Silong, Adviser of the Philippines Blessed Children Department (PBCD), delivered a lecture on Pure Love and the Blessing, highlighting the sacredness and beauty of living a life centered on the love of Heavenly Parent and receiving the Blessing. This was complemented by a heartfelt testimony shared by Hiroto Guingayan, PBCD President. On the final day, Rev. Ninoi Avila, Director of the Future Generation Department Asia-Pacific, concluded the lecture series with Ownership Training, calling participants to take concrete responsibility for their faith, dreams, and communities.
Each day of the workshop was enriched with engaging activities that supported the lectures and fostered unity among participants. The major highlights of the workshop included Membership 101, which aided participants in understanding the current situation of the Blessed Children community and introduced the role and mission of the Philippines Blessed Children Department (PBCD). The Pure Water Festival (Run for Mission) challenged participants through a race that required steadfastness, teamwork, and unity as they worked together to accomplish God’s mission. The Pure Water Prayer created a sacred space for shimjeong sharing, where participants opened their hearts, supported one another, and prayed together. During the Pure Water Show, participants creatively portrayed the lives of the central figures, expressing faith, unity, and devotion through performance. The Chanyang Prayer then further deepened the spiritual atmosphere, allowing participants to experience the love of Heavenly Parent and True Parents through praise and prayer. In preparation for the year ahead, participants engaged in goal-setting activities and concluded with the Dream Speech, during which each participant declared their dreams and resolutions while receiving encouragement, support, and cheers from the entire community.
The workshop concluded with a Closing Ceremony held on December 30, 2025. Two youth representatives, Cristal Oliveros and Mathew Degamo, shared heartfelt reflections on behalf of the participants. They spoke about the joy of experiencing the love of Heavenly Parent and True Parents alongside their brothers and sisters during the workshop, describing it as a meaningful way to end the year and a reminder to live as blessed children who take ownership of their faith. Rev. Ronnie Sodusta delivered his congratulatory remarks, emphasizing that participants belong to a community that Heaven has been protecting and cherishing, and that they should grow to become Pure Waters who bring comfort and happiness to True Mother. The ceremony concluded with the song “Let’s Go Back to True Parents,” marking the official graduation of the participants.
Overall, the Sung Hwa Year-End Workshop 2025 successfully provided a meaningful opportunity for reflection and spiritual renewal. By the end of the workshop, they emerged with greater purpose, deepened faith, and renewed commitment to live as Pure Waters and responsible members of their communities, ready to carry the inspiration and grace into the year ahead.
