The 5-Day Peacemaker Workshop, themed “Raising Peacemakers of Pure Love,” was successfully conducted from December 26 to 30, 2025, at the Antipolo Family Church, Philippines. The activity was organized by the FFWPU – Antipolo Family Church and gathered 19 youth participants from Area 3 (Bicol & Antipolo) who were from ages 16-24 years old who seeks deeper understanding of faith, character development, and their role as future leaders and peacemakers.
The workshop aimed to nurture the participants’ internal growth and sense of purpose by providing systematic education based on the Divine Principle, the life courses of the True Parents, and the values of pure love, service, and responsibility. Throughout the five days, participants engaged in a well-balanced program that included lectures, group discussions, team-building activities, reflection writing, and spiritual practices such as dedication time and prayer.
Key lectures covered topics such as the Introduction to the Divine Principle, Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of the Principle, the Restoration of the Three Lost Blessings (Love, Life, and Lineage), and the Life Courses of True Father and True Mother, culminating in a Pure Love Lecture. These sessions were delivered by esteemed lecturers, including Rev. Froilan Matbagon Jr., Rev. Edgar Tanate, Sir Ariel Realin, and Sir JC Nicolas, who guided the participants toward a clearer understanding of God’s providence and their personal mission.
Experiential learning was emphasized through interactive activities such as icebreakers, group discussions, banner and chant making, Peacemaker Olympics, impromptu speech competitions, and cultural presentations. A Peacemaker Tour in Antipolo further enriched the participants’ experience by allowing them to appreciate local heritage while strengthening unity and teamwork. Evening programs such as Movie Night, Beautiful Night, and the Peacemakers’ Cultural Night provided meaningful opportunities for bonding, creativity, and heartfelt sharing.
A significant highlight of the workshop was the encouragement for participants to envision their future path, particularly the importance of preparing themselves to receive the Blessing and to live a life centered on pure love and public-minded values. The workshop concluded with a Closing Program, where participants reflected on their growth, expressed gratitude to Heavenly Parent and True Parents, and renewed their commitment to become peacemakers in their families, communities, and society through the Closing Remark given by the Regional Director of FFWPU- Philippines, Rev. Ronnie Sodusta.
Overall, the 5-Day Peacemaker Workshop was a meaningful and transformative experience that strengthened the participants’ faith, character, and sense of mission. It successfully laid a foundation for raising young individuals who aspire to live for the sake of others and contribute to building a culture of peace rooted in true love.
