The 2025 NU Lingap General Assembly was successfully held on November 26, 2025, at National University Annex II (Mendiola Campus) from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., bringing together NU students, Lingap officers, CARP representatives, and HTG Korea missionaries who actively supported the program. The atmosphere was warm and energetic as participants arrived early, eager to engage in an afternoon dedicated to personal development, teamwork, and meaningful reflection.
The program opened with an uplifting segment that introduced the objectives of the assembly and encouraged participants to approach the activities with openness and enthusiasm. This was followed by a welcome message from Ms. Margie Gatbonton, who expressed appreciation for the collaboration between NU Lingap, CARP, and the visiting HTG Korea missionaries. She emphasized the importance of unity, service, and holistic growth, setting a positive tone for the event.
Next, a series of team-building activities facilitated by the HTG Korea missionaries allowed students to practice teamwork, build camaraderie, and strengthen communication skills. The cross-cultural participation of the missionaries added liveliness and warmth, helping students step out of their comfort zones and forge new friendships.
A major highlight of the assembly was the CARP Talk delivered by Mr. Jun Young Teves, who shared insights on self-awareness, personal goals, and personal development. Through relatable experiences, he encouraged students to reflect on their unique strengths, overcome challenges, and set purposeful goals. The HTG Korea missionaries actively participated, creating an atmosphere of shared growth.
Following the talk, participants engaged in team sharing, a reflective group activity where students openly expressed realizations, challenges, and aspirations. The missionaries contributed to the discussion, fostering encouragement and cultural exchange. To deepen reflection, students wrote letters to their future selves, articulating their hopes, goals, and intentions.
The event concluded with an awarding ceremony, recognizing the contributions of participants, speakers, organizers, and HTG Korea missionaries. A group photo captured the unity and joy shared by all attendees, commemorating the successful collaboration.
Overall, the 2025 NU Lingap General Assembly was a meaningful, well-coordinated, and enriching event. Through the combined efforts of NU Lingap, CARP, and HTG Korea missionaries, the program inspired students toward self-improvement, strengthened teamwork, and fostered an environment of learning, reflection, and connection. Participants left with renewed motivation and a deeper sense of purpose for their academic and personal journeys.
