On June 7, 2026, the youth members of Cebu Family Church, together with the Universal Peace Academy students, gathered at the Visayas Peace Embassy for the UPA–FFWPU Cebu Cultural Activity. A total of 63 participants composed of 26 young people and 37 UPA students joined in a joyful cultural exchange program aimed at strengthening friendship, unity, and intercultural understanding.

The activity was designed as a cultural sharing and exchange experience between Filipino and Korean traditions. Participants were introduced to the Korean traditional game Yutnori, which fostered excitement, teamwork, and cultural appreciation among the youth. In return, the Filipino participants prepared to share Pinoy Henyo; however, due to time limitations, only a brief version of the game was conducted.

The purpose of the program was to build stronger bonds of friendship between the participants, promote mutual cultural appreciation, and create a joyful environment where youth could experience unity beyond cultural differences. Through interactive games and shared laughter, the activity aimed to strengthen harmony and cooperation among the young participants.

The program included an introduction to Yutnori, followed by group participation where students learned and played the game together. The atmosphere was lively and engaging as participants collaborated, learned new rules, and experienced the spirit of Korean culture. A short Filipino game segment (Pinoy Henyo) was also facilitated, allowing participants to share their own culture in a fun and interactive way.

Throughout the activity, the atmosphere was filled with energy, enjoyment, and curiosity. The youth actively participated, supported one another, and showed openness to learning new cultural experiences. Despite the limited time, the exchange successfully created moments of laughter, teamwork, and friendship among all participants.

The core message of the activity emphasized that cultural exchange strengthens unity, understanding, and respect among young people. By engaging in shared experiences, participants learned that differences in culture can become a source of connection and joy rather than division.

As the program concluded, participants left with strengthened friendships, positive memories, and a deeper appreciation for both Filipino and Korean cultures. The activity ended with a renewed commitment to continue building unity and cooperation among youth through future exchanges and shared experiences.
