The Cavite Family Church joyfully conducted a Special Sunday Service on August 16, 2026, to warmly welcome the visit of Rev. Rene T. Lansangan, the newly appointed Vice President of FFWPU-Philippines. The atmosphere was filled with heartfelt anticipation and happiness, as members expressed their gratitude to receive Rev. Lansangan. 

His presence was especially meaningful because of his pivotal role in the establishment of Cavite Family Church in June 2004, when the church was re-pioneered as a branch center of the then Cubao Region. At that time, Rev. Lansangan served as the center leader, while the late Atty. Celso Talaba guided the region as its leader. Their joy reflected not only respect for his leadership but also deep appreciation for his enduring connection to Cavite Family Church.

Rev. Lansangan delivered an inspiring message entitled “Our Awesome Destiny.” Anchored on the words of True Father, he reminded the congregation: “God chose us and made us His children. For this we should have grateful minds and reverent hearts.” He emphasized that being chosen by God in this significant period of providence is both a blessing and a responsibility. Our destiny, he explained, is to work together with True Parents in fulfilling Heaven’s will, but it is realized only through the faithful fulfillment of our responsibilities.

In his message, Rev. Lansangan also shared his new responsibilities as Vice President of FFWPU-Philippines. His role includes assisting the national leader in addressing church-related concerns, strengthening organizational development, and focusing on both qualitative and quantitative growth of the movement. He candidly expressed that he initially had reservations about stepping into this higher responsibility, having served faithfully as head pastor of Cauayan Family Church and as region 2 Area Director. However, through the encouragement of leaders and the call of providence, he accepted the role wholeheartedly, with a heart of service and dedication.

Toward the conclusion of his message, Rev. Lansangan offered heartfelt gratitude to individuals who shaped his faith and leadership journey. He acknowledged the elder members of Cavite Family Church who had worked alongside him during the pioneering days, as well as those who guided him when he was still a young member. His words resonated deeply with the congregation, affirming the value of shared history, mentorship, and the enduring bonds of faith.

The service concluded in an atmosphere of warmth and fellowship.  The occasion became a celebration of continuity—honoring the past, embracing the present, and looking forward to the future with renewed hope under the guidance of Rev. Lansangan.
