On Sunday 31st August, the entire Singapore Shikku congregation gathered for their Sunday Family Gathering and had a small celebration to commemorate all the Blessing Anniversaries, as there were three Blessing batches that celebrates their anniversaries on the month of August (30,000, 360,000 and 2018 Cosmic Blessing).  This event was initaited by the Singapore Blessed Family Department.

The Blessing Enrichment Program kickstarted with a performance offered by the Singapore Second Gen serenading everyone with the song ‘Waymaker’. The National Leader of Singapore, Mr. John Ho, then gave a brief opening remarks to congratulate everyone about this momentous occasion celebrating the Blessing anniversaries.

A 1st Gen testimony was then given by Mr. Foong and Mrs. Florence, followed by a 2nd Gen couple, Mr. Jerry Kim and Mrs. Grace Lai, both who shared inspiring words and learnings about their Blessing experiences. The program then proceeded with a sermon by the BFD Director, Mrs. Kristine Rabaño, on a talk about ‘How to Talk About Anything without Ruining the Relationship’, which focuses on key points for effective communication in their relationships. A couples’ activity then followed the lecture, where everyone was split into groups or paired with their partners to reflect based on five guide questions.

The event then concluded with a unison prayer and group photo, followed by some light refreshments of bread buns and packet drinks distributed to everyone as a small token to celebrate the anniversary milestones of the Blessed couples. The congregation left the venue with a heartfelt gratitude to Heavenly Parent and True Parents, for the opportunity to be reminded once again about the value of the Blessing and how to nurture their relationships through effective communication.
