Mary Moriarty’s thesis and book on the environment, based on True Parents’ teachings, became a point of inspiration during a recent gathering. Our team—Randall Apps (Geelong, Victoria), Mary, and I—were deeply moved by the Holy Spirit through Moon Shin Chul’s message from Mother to nurture the environment. In this spirit, we discussed offering Mary’s book to Rev. Hori as a contribution to this providence. Although Mary is naturally shy, during dinner together Randall and I, guided by the Holy Spirit, encouraged her to polish her work and present it. We also suggested having Dr. Jacinta Moreau proofread it, with additional support from Randall’s two daughters, who specialize in proofreading and bookbinding.

The very next day, Mary was given the opportunity to sit beside Rev. Hori at Sunday lunch. In a moment of grace, he warmly endorsed her effort and encouraged her to refine and print her environment book. This affirmation gave Mary both confidence and joy to pursue the next steps in completing her work.
