The revival of the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Cavite Chapter marks a significant milestone in the providential work of women in the province. After a period of dormancy, the chapter has now been reorganized with a new set of officers, signaling renewed energy and commitment to the vision of WFWP. 

This revival was initiated by Sis. Eva Yamamoto Garcia Pahunang, who was elected as the President of the Cavite Chapter. She will be supported by a dedicated team of officers: Sis. Lolita Badua as Vice President, Sis. Angelina Mantalaba as Secretary, Sis. Kumhyeon Josol as Assistant Secretary, Sis. Maria Luz Boriphet as Treasurer, Sis. Imelda Juantala as Auditor, Sis. Josie Songcayauon for Internal Affairs, and Sis. Jessylyn Ilustrisimo for External Affairs. As the former WFWP Coordinator of Cavite Province, Sis. Virginia Amangan now serves as Adviser, offering wisdom and guidance to ensure the chapter’s stability and growth.

The Cavite Chapter, in its revival, has committed to align with WFWP’s key focus areas: the empowerment of women, the reinforcement of family values as the cornerstone of peace, the sound upbringing of children, the building of partnerships for peace through cooperation among women, and the pursuit of global service projects such as education, women’s self-sufficiency, agriculture, nutrition, and medical aid. These areas reflect the providential calling of women to stand at the forefront of peacebuilding, embodying the principle of living for the sake of others.

This revival is not merely organizational but spiritual in nature. It represents a renewed determination among the women of Cavite to contribute to the realization of One Global Family under God. The election of officers and the establishment of leadership roles signify a collective commitment to serve, to guide, and to nurture both families and communities. The presence of experienced leaders, together with new officers, ensures that the chapter will be able to balance continuity with fresh inspiration.

As Adviser, Sis. Virginia Amangan reflects that this revival is a testimony to the enduring seeds planted by True Parents. The Cavite Chapter now carries the responsibility of embodying WFWP’s vision in practical ways—through programs that uplift women, strengthen families, and promote reconciliation and peace.
