The Blessed Family Department (BFD) Philippines hosted an enriching seminar specifically designed for first-generation couples embarking on or just beginning their family life. The seminar’s primary goal was to empower and equip these young blessed couples with the guidance, encouragement, and support needed to confidently navigate their journey. It also emphasized the importance of understanding and embracing tradition as they build their families.
Eager to progress in their journey, the couples enthusiastically introduced themselves and shared their current status. The seminar then benefited from the insightful guidance of Mrs. Dulce Buyayo, Rev. & Mrs. John and Catherine Gregorio, Dr. Rahim Mirshahi, and Mrs. Manilyn Bartolo, who served as dedicated lecturers. Through their warm welcomes and sincere connections, the lecturers successfully imparted their message, offering both practical steps and a profound understanding of the significance of traditions in serving our Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
Rev. John Gregorio underscored the importance of understanding key traditions, such as setting conditions through prayer, the multiplication of holy items, and their profound meanings. He also highlighted the responsibilities each blessed family carries in the Era of Cheon Il Guk. Mrs. Dulce religiously and meticulously conveyed the significance of the Holy Three Days ceremony, emphasizing the couple being engrafted into a new lineage centered on True Parents. Dr. Rahim took time to instill in the couples’ minds the importance of maintaining a pure lineage and the potential consequences of failing to fulfill their responsibilities as a blessed family. Mrs. Bartolo uplifted the couples with her heartfelt testimony, sharing how she and her husband grew together amidst struggles and disagreements in their journey of starting a family.
Throughout the program, the couples received encouraging, uplifting, and reflective insights from the lecturers, fostering a sense of renewal and purpose. Ms. Marijune Tomas, one of the participants, shared her realization that after the 3-Day Ceremony and starting a family, couples should establish strong conditioning in their hearts, diligently fulfill their portion of responsibility, and cultivate a positive mindset focused on building a blessed family centered on Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ true love, life, and lineage.
The discussions deepened the participants’ understanding of the providence and their vital role as blessed families in today’s era. The couples gained invaluable guidance from the lecturers, who demonstrated unwavering support and offered unending guidance, empowering them to embrace their responsibilities with confidence.
The seminar successfully concluded, leaving the couples with renewed guidance, deeper reflection, and a profound understanding of the journey they are embarking on. They left with strengthened hearts, a sense of readiness, and the knowledge needed to carry on the tradition, passing it down to generations to come, thus ensuring a lasting legacy.
