On July 20, 2025, Blessed Families and brothers and sisters gathered once again for the Sunday Service at the Metro Manila Family Church. The occasion was marked not only by the regular worship service but also by the second batch of the Pilot Testing of the Holy Sacrament, a significant and spiritual tradition being introduced to the community.
The program began with a solemn Opening Prayer led by Blessed Family member Mr. Teddy Andres, setting the spiritual tone for the morning. This was followed by a Scriptural Reading delivered by Sister Jade Melvery Espejo, which highlighted the sacred value of the Holy Sacrament and deepened the congregation’s understanding of the essence of the Blessed Family tradition. Her reading helped participants reflect on their role in upholding this heavenly culture.
A special recognition ceremony was held to honor the new FFWPU NCR Deputy Regional Leader, acknowledging their commitment and leadership in advancing the providence.
The message of the day was powerfully delivered by Senior Pastor Rev. John Rhodbert Gregorio, who preached on the theme, “Breaking Down the Walls of Your Jericho.” His sermon encouraged members to have unwavering faith, likening the challenges in life to the walls of Jericho that can be overcome through trust in Heavenly Parent and unity with Holy Mother Han. He also inspired the youth and families to actively participate in the upcoming Cheon Il Guk Youth Assembly.
The Holy Sacrament Ceremony followed the sermon. Pastor Julius Escleto and his wife, Mrs. Tami Escleto, served as the officiators. The Emcee first provided an orientation on the significance and meaning of the Holy Sacrament, preparing the members for this sacred experience. Three representative couples were called to the stage and received the Holy Meal, which they in turn distributed to the congregation. In a moving moment of unity and grace, all participants partook of the Holy Meal together, symbolizing oneness with God, True Parents, and one another.
The officiator then offered a Benediction Prayer, concluding the sacrament ceremony. The atmosphere was filled with heartfelt prayers and deep spiritual reflection as the congregation joined together in a Unison Prayer, sealing the day’s experience with sincere devotion.
The Sunday Service and Holy Sacrament left the members feeling spiritually uplifted, having received abundant grace. The day was a meaningful step forward in the tradition of the Holy Sacrament and a testament to the community’s unity, faith, and heart toward Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
