On Sunday, following the worship service, the Blessed Family Department (BFD) organized a Meet and Greet program for 1st generation matching candidates. This special gathering was held with the purpose of guiding, encouraging, and supporting our brothers and sisters as they take steps toward preparing for the Blessing.

The program was graced by the presence of Mrs. Dulce and Mrs. Catherine, who served as mentors and spiritual guides throughout the activity. They warmly connected with the candidates, taking time to listen and assess their hearts and motivations for the Blessing. With care and sincerity, they reminded the participants that preparation for the Blessing is not only external but, more importantly, internal—centered on cultivating a healthy spiritual life, sincere faith, and readiness to embrace God’s will.

The Mrs. Dulce and Mrs. Catherine emphasized the importance of developing constancy in prayer, attending services, maintaining purity, and building a lifestyle rooted in Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ tradition. They encouraged the candidates to open their hearts, let go of personal limitations, and be ready to receive with gratitude and faith whoever God may prepare as their eternal partner.

The atmosphere was both uplifting and reflective. The discussions helped the candidates realize that the matching and Blessing process is a journey of faith, selflessness, and obedience to Heaven’s providence. The presence of our BFD Director from Philippines and Asia Pacific provided assurance and wisdom, guiding the candidates to see the Blessing as a holy covenant rather than just a personal choice.

The event was attended by 1st generation members from NCR and neighbouring provinces, who expressed appreciation for the opportunity to connect with BFD Directors and fellow candidates. Through this gathering, participants not only gained valuable guidance but also felt a stronger sense of community, knowing they are not alone in their preparation for the Blessing.

In conclusion, the Meet and Greet successfully provided a platform for first-generation candidates to reflect, be guided, and deepen their spiritual preparation for the Blessing. It served as a reminder that the journey toward eternal marriage is one of faith, heart, and constant alignment with Heavenly Parent’s providence.
