A successful Meet and Greet was held on Sunday, November 28, 2025, for 1st Generation Blessing Candidates who are already in communication. The program aimed to provide guidance, support, and understanding of the couples’ situations prior to receiving the Blessing. Twenty-one participants attended, including Area BFD representatives and Matching Supporters, via the Zoom platform.

Mrs. Teresita Jumawan, Area 5 BFD, delivered a testimonial lecture entitled “Good Communication Skills are the Key to Success.” In her lecture, she emphasized the importance of communication, sharing how she and her husband nurtured their relationship through understanding, love, and forgiveness, all while centering their lives on True Parents’ teachings.

The lecture enabled participants to evaluate their communication styles with their matched partners and to recognize the importance of understanding and emphaty. By creating a space for open communication, they could learn to build stronger relationships centered on Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Several participants shared their personal strategies for navigating conflict and misunderstandings with their partners.

Mrs. Dulce Buyayo warmly encouraged the Matching Supporters, emphasizing the importance of their role in guiding and listening to members, even amidst challenges. She also inspired all participants to persevere and to prepare themselves both internally and externally for the future.

This gathering offered participants essential guidance and cultivated a strong sense of community, reinforcing the idea that they are supported and united as they prepare for the Blessing. The Meet and Greet successfully fostered a nurturing space for reflection, guidance, and spiritual growth among first-generation candidates. It underscored that the journey toward eternal marriage requires steadfast faith, deep devotion, and ongoing alignment with Heavenly Parent’s divine will.
