On January 16, 2026, the Japanese Cultural Experience was successfully held at the YSP Center in San Antonio, Pasig City. The activity was designed to provide participants with a hands-on introduction to Japanese culture while fostering fellowship, creativity, and meaningful engagement among attendees.

The program began with a self-introduction session, allowing participants to get to know one another and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This was followed by a Daruma origami making activity, where participants learned the significance of the Daruma and carefully folded their own origami creations, promoting patience, focus, and cultural appreciation.

Next, participants enjoyed Dango, a traditional Japanese sweet, which they prepared and shared together. This activity encouraged camaraderie, collaboration, and casual conversation among the group.

The program concluded with a sharing session and reflection writing, where participants reflected on their experiences, shared insights, and discussed the values learned through the cultural activities.

Overall, the Japanese Cultural Experience was a meaningful and enjoyable activity. It successfully combined cultural learning, hands-on engagement, and fellowship, leaving participants with a deeper appreciation for Japanese traditions and strengthened connections within the group.
