The spirit of unity, devotion, and commitment filled the air as the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Western Visayas Region held its 2-Day Moshim Workshop and Gathering on October 18-19, 2025, at the FFWPU Iloilo Church. The event gathered 51 onsite participants and 10 online attendees from Iloilo, Bacolod City, and Guimaras, all eager to deepen their understanding of attendance and strengthen their faith despite the challenging weather conditions.

The workshop was graced by national leaders, including Regional President Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, Rev. Shirley Vergara, Rev. Edgar Tanate, and Rev. Angelito Cainday, whose presence and guidance brought inspiration and renewed determination to all participants.

The program opened with Ptr. Stephen Gimay, Pastor of the Bacolod Center, offered opening prayer, followed by welcome remarks from Rev. Angelito Cainday, Area Director for Visayas and Church Growth Director of FFWPU Philippines, who encouraged everyone to begin the workshop with gratitude and purpose.

Rev. Ronnie D. Sodusta, Regional Director and National Leader of FFWPU Philippines, delivered an inspiring message on “The Philippine Providence Today: Our Path of Attendance to True Mother in the Era of Cheon Il Guk,” reminding members to align their hearts with True Mother’s vision and Heaven’s direction.

Mrs. Grace Carumba, Director of the Database Management Department, spoke about “Database and Church Membership: Its Importance and Necessity,” highlighting the value of organization and accurate records in church growth and care. After the lectures, everyone shared dinner together, enjoying fellowship and heartfelt conversations that strengthened their bonds.

The following day began with a meaningful Sunday Service led by Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, who encouraged all to live with faith and devotion centered on attendance to Heavenly Parent and True Parents.

Rev. Edgar Tanate, Director for Education, Spirituality, and Leadership Development, spoke about “Witnessing, Education, and the New Era: Centering on Peace and Harmony,” calling members to take an active role in nurturing future leaders. Mrs. Shirley Vergara, Director of Church Nurturing, Tithing, and Offering, shared about “Raising Faithful Givers: Teaching Tithing and Offerings to the Young Generation,” inspiring gratitude and generosity among members. Rev. Angelito Cainday concluded the series of lectures with a discussion on “Church Growth, New Policy, and Project,” outlining new initiatives to strengthen the regional mission.

The workshop concluded with a closing ceremony honoring the Top 10 Faithful Consistent Givers/Tithers, and reflections from Mrs. Rosela Cadile and Mrs. Manilyn Bartolo, who expressed gratitude and determination to continue serving Heaven.

In his closing cemarks and Benediction Prayer, Rev. Ronnie Sodusta urged everyone to bring their inspiration back to their communities and continue serving with love and faith. Participants then joined in a resonating prayer, offering heartfelt petitions for True Mother’s health, the success of the providence, and their personal goals.

The event closed with a powerful Eog Mansei led by Ptr. Carlo Nino Bartolo, Head Pastor of FFWPU Iloilo Church, followed by a commemorative photo capturing the joy and unity of all attendees. The two-day event was smoothly hosted by Ms. Mary Zhane Brillo of the Iloilo Church. Afterward, some members stayed for a community meeting led by Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, where they shared insights, suggestions, and renewed commitments to strengthen the providence in Region 6, fostering deeper cooperation and unity among the local churches.

The 2-Day Moshim Workshop and Gathering in Western Visayas was a resounding success-overflowing with spiritual inspiration, heartfelt fellowship, and renewed faith. Despite the unfavorable weather, participants’ devotion stood as a beautiful testimony of their love for Heaven and their determination to live lives of sincere attendance to Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
