The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Heavenly Asia-Pacific conducted a Appreciation & Inauguration Ceremony for Heavenly Asia-Pacific Leadership on December 21, 2025, for the Appreciation Ceremony for Rev. Masaichi and Mrs. Moriko Hori and the Inauguration of Rev. Yutaka Yamada as the new Continental Director of Heavenly Asia-Pacific. Held at the Philippine National Headquarters, the event was attended by regional and national leaders, alongside members from across the Asia-Pacific region, with a total participation of 743 attendees—310 present onsite and 433 joining via online platforms. This gathering officially marked the transition of regional leadership and the start of a new era for Heavenly Asia-Pacific centering on the love and leadership of True Mother.

Outgoing Continental Director and current President of FFWPU Japan, Rev. Masaichi Hori, reflected on his tenure, which focused on rebuilding foundations following the pandemic. He expressed confidence in his successor, Rev. Yutaka Yamada, noting that Yamada’s experience would lead to an even larger providential harvest. In his inaugural address as Continental Director of Heavenly Asia-Pacific, Rev. Yutaka Yamada emphasized centering all efforts on the vision of Heavenly Parent and True Parents. He called for active contributions toward building God-centered families and a culture of true love, as well as raising future leaders in the region. Rev. Doo Seung-yeon, Director-General of FFWPU World Mission Headquarters, supported this vision by outlining three key priorities: 1) reestablishing family values, 2) aligning providential organizations with True Parents’ vision, and 3) building a multi-generational faith identity. Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal, Vice President of UPF International, also pledged full collaboration toward the shared goal of global peace.

The program featured video greetings from Asia-Pacific leaders and performances by the FFWPU Philippines Youth Ministry and Heavenly Top Gun Missionaries. The event concluded with newfound inspiration and determination, signaling providential advancement in Asia-Pacific.
