The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) – Puerto Princesa Family Church successfully conducted an Interfaith Peace Blessing on June 26, 2026, in Lamane, Bering, Quezon, Palawan. The event brought together three married couples who sincerely participated in the program as they began their journey to strengthen their marriages and build God-centered families. The gathering was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Pastor Manuel Geronimo and Mrs. Belinda Geronimo, who were inspired by the Marriage Blessing and became members of FFWPU in 2024.

The program began with a Divine Principle Lecture, introducing the participants to God’s original ideal of creation, the significance of the family, the purpose of marriage, the Human Fall, and God’s providence of restoration. The lecture emphasized God’s vision for establishing healthy, loving, and God-centered families as the foundation for lasting peace. This was followed by the Blessing Lecture, delivered by the Head Pastor of the FFWPU Puerto Princesa Family Church, Rev. Leopoldo Uba. The lecture emphasized the value of the Marriage Blessing in restoring families, promoting fidelity between husband and wife, and establishing peaceful and harmonious homes centered on God’s love.

Following the lectures, the three couples received the Interfaith Peace Blessing with sincere hearts and a renewed commitment to their marriages. As part of the Blessing tradition, they have now entered the 40-day separation (purification) period, a time of spiritual preparation, reflection, and personal growth before beginning their renewed married life together. This period serves as an important step in deepening their commitment to one another and to God’s ideal for the family.

The successful conduct of the Interfaith Peace Blessing marks another meaningful milestone in the outreach efforts of the FFWPU Puerto Princesa Family Church. Through the continued dedication of its members and local leaders, the movement continues to extend the message of true love, lasting marriages, and family values to communities throughout Palawan. It is hoped that this event will inspire more couples and families to participate in future Blessing programs and become ambassadors of peace within their homes and communities.
