The Blessed Family Department (BFD) Philippines successfully conducted the 1st Generation Level 2 Blessing Education on August 30, 2026, via Zoom. The program drew 23 participants, supported by 7 Matching Supporters (MS) and BFD representatives who accompanied and assisted them throughout the program. The education aimed to deepen the participants’ understanding of the Blessing and provide spiritual and practical guidance as they prepare for their matching and future family life. The program began with a Holy Song, CIG Anthem, and Kyeongbae, and an opening prayer, followed by welcoming remarks from Mrs. Catherine Gregorio, National BFD Director, and the introduction of participants.

The first session, “Significance and Value of the Blessing,” was presented by Mrs. Teresita Jumawan, 

Area BFD. She emphasized the sacred value and purpose of the Blessing, the importance of maintaining purity, and the responsibility of preparing oneself to establish a God-centered family. She also discussed the significance of the sexual organs from the perspective of God’s original ideal and connected the Blessing to the fulfillment of the Three Great Blessings. Participants were encouraged to understand that the Blessing goes beyond marriage and involves a lifelong commitment to building a family centered on Heavenly Parent and the tradition of true love.

The second session, “Matching and Blessing Guidelines,” was presented by Mrs. Catherine Gregorio, National BFD Director. She provided an overview of the qualifications, requirements, and processes involved in becoming a Blessing candidate. The session covered important preparations such as completing the required Blessing education, submitting the necessary documents, fulfilling candidate requirements, including raising spiritual children, and understanding the different stages of the matching and Blessing process. The presentation helped participants gain a clearer understanding of their responsibilities and the practical steps they need to undertake as they prepare for the Blessing.

The final session, “Before Finding the Right Person, Be the Right One,” was delivered by Mrs. Manilyn Bartolo, Area BFD. She encouraged participants to focus on personal growth, self-improvement, healing from past relationships and experiences, and developing the heart of living for the sake of others. A reflective activity followed, allowing participants to examine their own readiness for the Blessing. One participant shared that marriage and family are precious gifts from God and that preparation requires growth in patience, kindness, and faith. Another important realization was that preparing for the Blessing is not mainly about finding the “right person,” but about becoming the right person by developing the qualities one hopes to find in a future spouse. The Q&A session further addressed practical concerns, including healing from unsuccessful matching experiences and gaining a better understanding of the matching process.

The 1st Generation Level 2 Blessing Education provided participants with a meaningful opportunity to deepen their understanding of the value and significance of the Blessing, learn the proper matching and Blessing process, and reflect on their personal readiness to begin this important journey. More importantly, the seminar reminded participants that preparation for the Blessing begins with oneself—developing a mature character, healing and growing from past experiences, strengthening one’s relationship with Heavenly Parent, and learning to live for the sake of others. The program concluded with closing remarks and prayer, with the hope that each participant will continue preparing to become the right person and eventually establish a God-centered family of true love that brings joy to Heavenly Parent.
