On June 13, 2026, the HTG Korea missionaries conducted a free Korean language class to interested students.

This week’s lesson was themed “Introducing My Family,” through which attendees learned vocabulary and expressions related to family members. As classroom activities, missionaries played a word card matching game and had students draw and introduce their own families. These activities were prepared to encourage greater participation and make the learning experience more enjoyable.

This week, there was again one student in attendance, and a special guest—a six-year-old child—also joined the class. While conducting a one-on-one lesson with the child, the missionaries realized that the materials and lesson content they had prepared so far might be too challenging for very young beginner learners.

Since this Korean language class is intended for beginners, they recognized the need to adapt the lessons to be simpler, more engaging, and more enjoyable for young children as well. Moving forward, they plan to design and conduct classes that better reflect the age and proficiency levels of the learners so that everyone can participate comfortably and enjoy learning Korean.
