On July 27, we had a refreshing and memorable outdoor Sunday service at Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach in Hong Kong. With 24 people onsite, 10 joining online, and 3 special guests, we enjoyed the Youth Assembly live via Zoom, surrounded by nature’s beauty .After the livestream, we gathered for a potluck picnic, where each blessed family and Young Blessed couples contributed delicious dishes, celebrating our vibrant community. The fun continued with swimming, volleyball, and exciting games like the three-legged race, Suikawari

One of our special guests, a nurse from Hong Kong, shared her reflection, which touched us deeply:
“This is my second time joining an FFWPU activity. Previously, I participated in Christian church events, but I noticed that many members drifted away after entering the workforce or starting their families. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many FFWPU young adults committed to church activities even after establishing their careers or getting married. It gives me so much hope to witness young people finding a balance between their lives and their faith. I would like to join more activities in the future!”

This reflection is a reminder of the strength of our community and the importance of staying grounded in our faith, no matter where life takes us.

This outdoor service, our second since the COVID period, was a wonderful reminder of the power of community and faith in nature’s beauty. We look forward to more gatherings like this!
