The CheonBo Victors of the Metro Manila Family Church convened their first meeting with the newly appointed Area 1 Director and Head Pastor, Rev. Froilan Matbagan, on July 26, 2026. The meeting served as a meaningful opportunity to establish the Council of Elders, composed of victorious CheonBo Blessed Families, as an advisory and consultative body that will support the Head Pastor in strengthening the Metro Manila Family Church.

Rev. Froilan presented the Council’s purpose, roles, and responsibilities, emphasizing unity, strategic planning, mentorship, and confidentiality in all discussions. During the open forum, members actively shared recommendations on the Council’s meeting schedule, communication, pastoral concerns, staffing, financial procedures, and other matters concerning the local church. It was unanimously agreed that the Council of Elders will meet regularly on the last Sunday of every month after the Sunday Service.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from the CheonBo Victors to work together in one heart with Heavenly Parent and True Parents, providing wisdom, guidance, and steadfast support to the Metro Manila Family Church through the newly established Council of Elders.
