The Fusion Fest 2025: Cheon Il Guk Youth Assembly – Heavenly Asia Pacific, with the theme “A Continental Gathering of Hearts, Cultures, and Purpose,” was held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, and brought together over 3,500 total participants, including 1,456 onsite participants in the Philippines, 773 online group watch party participants (local churches), and 1,290 individual online participants from 30 nations across the Asia Pacific. Organized by the FFWPU and the Future Generation Department, the assembly responded to the call of our beloved True Mother, who wishes for all young generation members to grow as Pure Waters, united with her and with each other through bonds of heart. Guided by the principles of Faith, Unity, and Tradition, as emphasized by True Mother, the event featured uplifting musical performances, heartfelt testimonies, and inspiring messages from key leaders—reinforcing the youth’s commitment to their faith and mission.
What could have been hindered by weather turned into a miracle of sunshine and spirit. It felt as if Heaven itself smiled upon the day. The event was structured into three parts: the Pre-Program, the Main Program, and the Cheon Il Guk (CIG) Unity Games. The Pre-Program set the tone with energetic and heartfelt performances by local singers and the HJ Sonic Youth Band (young talents from our Blessed Children community), bringing everyone into a truly celebratory atmosphere. During the Main Program, all participants experienced the diverse beauty of Asia Pacific through cultural performances from the Philippines, Nepal, Thailand, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, and more. The richness of traditional dance, song, and national costumes reminded everyone that unity in diversity is not only possible, but vibrant.
Everyone heard inspiring speeches from religious leaders, youth advocates, and dignitaries, including representatives from the Family Federation, the National Youth Commission of the Philippines, and international missions. These were more than ceremonial greetings—they carried heartfelt calls for the youth to rise as moral leaders and peacemakers in this age of Cheon Il Guk.
Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, Regional Director of FFWPU Philippines, welcomed youth and peacebuilders from across Asia Pacific to Fusion Fest 2025, emphasizing that despite challenges, their collective hope and determination reflect the power of youth to bring peace through art, heart, and hyojeong.
Rev. Lee Cheong Woo, Chief Director of the Cheon Mu Won Central Administration, sent a keynote message that was read on his behalf by Rev. Masatate Kajikuri, Vice Director of the CMW Mission Department. In his message, he reminded the Pure Water youth that they are living in a providential time, blessed by the sacrifices and love of True Mother, Holy Mother Han. He urged them to respond with absolute unity and devotion, becoming filial sons and daughters who fulfill her vision of one family under the Heavenly Parent.
Rev. Masaichi Hori, Continental Director of Heavenly Asia Pacific, reflected on the passing of the typhoon as a sign of Heaven’s love, affirming that this Youth Assembly is guided by divine providence. He called on the youth to protect their purity, rise as future leaders, and build a world of peace by overcoming conflict through culture and unity.
Missionary Moon Shin Heung gave special video greetings to all participants. He expressed deep gratitude to the youth who gathered for peace, believing that such unity can spark miracles and a movement of goodness in today’s chaotic world. He hopes Fusion Fest will become the fuse that ignites lasting peace, beginning from the Asia Pacific and spreading across the globe.
Missionary Moon Shin Chul also shared heartfelt video greetings, expressing gratitude to the youth in the Philippines and across Asia Pacific for actively working toward a shared vision of peace and prosperity. He felt empowered knowing that, even from afar, they are united in purpose and encouraged everyone to enjoy the event while remaining committed to their common dream.
There were also moments of joy and recognition through the awarding of Ambassadors for Peace and Best Cultural Attire. The raffle draws gave everyone a chance to celebrate in a more casual and festive way. After lunch, the program transitioned into the CIG Unity Games, which began with the Bon Odori dance led by Japanese missionaries. All participants joined the crowd as they danced and competed in large-scale team games like the Giant Ball Relay, Balloon Tower Challenge, and traditional Yutnori, hosted by Korean teams and our Sunhwa International Academy ESL educators. The energy was electric. The event concluded with a symbolic “Song of Unity” and a flash mob performance of “Let’s Go”, capturing the youthful determination to march forward together.
Throughout the venue, there were community booths representing various ministries and organizations under FFWPU Philippines. These were more than just displays—they served as spaces of reconnection, welcoming new guests, reviving inactive members, and empowering local leaders through fundraising for providential activities.
For all participants, Fusion Fest 2025 was more than just a festival. It was a declaration that the youth of Asia Pacific are alive, ready, and united in heart. With the blessing of good weather and the spirit of our True Parents at the center, this gathering felt like a sacred offering and a living, joyful expression of Cheon Il Guk culture in action.
