DSWD CARAGA 3rd quarter meeting 

October 6, 2026 at Barangay Mahay Butuan City

During the DSWD Caraga 3rd Quarter Meeting, Mrs. Sally Loquite shared the HJ Youth Caraga Character Education activities conducted in Barangay Mahay. The presentation highlighted the importance of guiding children and youth through values such as love, respect, responsibility, gratitude, and service.

DSWD and partner agencies showed great interest in the program and recognized its positive impact on young people and families. They expressed hope for youth education and invited HJ Youth Caraga to share its experiences in an upcoming two-day DSWD learning activity. The positive response strengthened our commitment to continue serving children, youth, and parents through Character Education. We believe that nurturing good values is essential in helping young people overcome challenges, strengthen family relationships, and grow into responsible members of society. Through these activities, we hope to bring lasting positive change to families and communities while helping them build a deeper connection with Heavenly Parent.

Reflection

This activity reminded me that every child deserves guidance, hope, and positive values to help them grow. Seeing the interest and support from DSWD and partner agencies encouraged us to continue sharing Character Education with greater passion. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve children, youth, and families, believing that small lessons of love, respect, responsibility, gratitude, and service can create lasting change in their lives and communities.
