On the 26th of July 2025, the Singapore 2nd Gen Department / Youth Generation Group hosted a Cultural Appreciation Day session for Blessed Children (BCs) aged 16 to 26. This session was attended by 14 Blessed Children and held in the home of a Blessed family. This session was held in support of the Fusion Fest 2025 CIG Youth Assembly, held on the 27th July 2025, as part of local activities in each nation.

The purpose of the session was to provide second-generation youth with the opportunity to appreciate the diverse cultures and traditions that form our shared identity as one global family under Heavenly Parent (HP) and True Parents (TP). As part of the session, participants were encouraged to dress up in their traditional/cultural clothing, or wear one of the 4 theme colors: red, green, purple, yellow.

The session began with a Hoon Dok Hae (HDH) reading of True Parents’ Words on establishing a world of peace by becoming one family under God — through embracing people of all colors, cultures, and races. The HDH reading also emphasized the significance of the interracial marriage Blessing, which brings together people of different nationalities, cultures, races. A short group discussion followed, allowing participants to share their reflections on the reading.

Next was the Cultural Games segment, where participants enjoyed a variety of traditional games. The games prepared were:
-Five stones
-Chapteh
-Traditional Spinning Top
-Traditional Card games
-Pickup sticks
-dkaji (Traditional Korean game)

The participants thoroughly enjoyed discovering the games prepared — some for the first time, others as a nostalgic return to childhood memories.

To conclude the session, a potluck dinner was held, where each participant contributed a traditional dish from their culture. This allowed everyone to sample and appreciate a diverse array of traditional foods, including:
-Roti Prata with Fish Curry (Indian)
-Popiah (Chinese)
-Macaroni Salad (Filipino)
-Kueh Lapis (Southeast Asian)
-Ang Ku Kueh (Chinese)
-Murukku (Indian)

The session was greatly enjoyed by all. Many participants shared that they enjoyed the games and the food very much. The Singapore 2nd Gen Department / Youth Generation Group remain committed to organizing meaningful education programs that support the growth of Blessed Children and help raise future leaders who can inherit and carry forward Heavenly Parent’s dream.
