The FFWPU Philippines is honored to report the recent visit of Mrs. Phyllis Kim, the devoted wife of the late Dr. Peter Kim, one of the National Messiah assigned to the Philippines. Dr. Peter and Mrs. Phyllis Kim played a pivotal role in laying the foundations of our national movement and were key contributors to the construction and development of major institutions, such as Sun Hwa International Academy and International Peace Leadership College, that continue to serve our society today.

Mrs. Kim arrived in the Philippines last May 16, 2025 and was warmly received by church elders, leaders, and members. She visited the International Peace Leadership College and had the chance to meet her HTM tribe there. It was a simple yet heartfelt welcoming program that celebrated her presence and as a gratitude to the couple’s efforts to the Philippines as well.

She was able to visit the sites where her late husband had labored with devotion—including the FFWPU Church Headquarters in Quezon City, Sun Hwa International Academy (SHIA) and International Peace Leadership College (IPLC). She was able to warmly greet Blessed Family members during the Unified Sunday Service in Antipolo Church and to the young people joining the ongoing HTG Asia Pacific Workshop.

Her presence served as both a reminder and an inspiration of the unwavering faith and tireless dedication of our early missionaries who planted the seeds of Heaven’s providence in the Philippines. The visit became a powerful call to the current generation to carry forward their legacy with the same heart of attendance, sacrifice, and vision.

We express our deepest gratitude to Mrs. Kim for her visit, and we pray for her continued good health and happiness. May this moment deepen our appreciation for our history and strengthen our resolve to fulfill Heaven’s will in our nation centering with True Mother, our Holy Mother Han.
