August Youth Service was organized by the UPA and HTG missionaries. The choir incorporated beautiful Cheon Shim Won songs into their repertoire, creating a deep spirit and longing for Heavenly Parent and True Parents. 

A second-generation member shared his testimony, having completed a substantial period of overseas missionary work, which included fundraising, witnessing, giving lectures. In hindsight, he could see how he had been guided by God to make the decision to take up the mission, but his most important realization was the importance to respond to the call of God at the right time, even if he did not clearly know what he was ‘signing up’ for. Through the whole period, the brother got closer to Heavenly Parent and True Parents, learnt more about himself, understood that utmost sincerity moves heaven, he could understand his wife better, as the wife is one of the UPA missionaries in the States, and finally learnt the value of saying ‘yes’, of being available and willing to respond to the call of God.
