July’s Youth Service featured a most moving testimony from a Second Generation sister, who tearfully shared her journey from severe depression into a true rebirth experience. This happened through deep realizations about the value of True Parents, particularly of Holy Mother Han at this time, and their love that washes everything away.
The sister explained that she had reached a point of seeing no difference between being alive or being dead, and was relying on professional counselling and medication to keep going. Eventually she decided to attend a 40 day workshop in Cheon Pyong. Here, through the Cheon Shim Won prayers and lectures about the Epic of the chosen Han people she came to realize that she had been blocking the way for Heavenly Parent to reach her heart. She emphasised that being liberated from the depression has been a true miracle that happened when she completely united in heart with Holy Mother Han, and it is a miracle performed by Holy Mother Han’s unconditional love for all of us.
