On April 21, 2026, the Keys to the Kingdom Seminar Part II of the Pacific Christian Leadership Conference (PCLC) convened 335 participants representing 16 nations across the Asia-Pacific region, including a core delegation of five clergy members. The seminar was anchored on the theme “God Grieved,” which emphasized a reflective examination of humanity’s relationship with God, highlighting the spiritual and moral consequences of disobedience and the call to renewed faithfulness. Conducted in a hybrid format, the event recorded 86 participants via Zoom, 185 through Facebook, and 84 via YouTube, with an additional 32 individuals joining through organized group watch parties across various nations.

Dr. Jacinta Moreau, PCLC Executive Committee Member, presided over the opening of the program, which commenced with a heartfelt rendition of “Here I Am To Worship” by PCLC Thailand followed by a solemn opening prayer led by Abp. Amb. Dr. Nelson Pervaz of PCLC Australia. Following the invocation, Rev. Yutaka Yamada delivered the welcoming remarks. Rev. Yamada expressed sincere appreciation for the gathering’s continuing  vision and reflected on God’s heart through the analogy of a parent–child relationship. He shared that, just as a parent feels deep sorrow when a child lives independently in a way that breaks emotional and relational unity, God likewise grieves when His children are distant from Him. He emphasized that such separation leads to a loss of shared heart and understanding, and that true restoration involves returning to the original design of that relationship—where parents and children stand in their proper positions, united in heart, purpose, and love as intended.

This was followed by the principal message delivered by Dr. Robert Kittel, Director of Education of WCLC USA and the seminar’s main speaker. In his presentation, “God Grieved,” centered on Genesis 6:6, Dr. Kittel offered a compelling lecture on the nature of God as both almighty and deeply relational, capable of experiencing sorrow and heartbreak. He emphasized that this reveals not only God’s profound love but also the weight of humanity’s responsibility in its relationship with Him. The message ultimately highlighted God’s enduring hope and parental heart, showing that despite human failings, He has continually sought a path toward restoration, while inviting participants to reflect more deeply on their faith, relationships, and connection with God.

Rev. Gregory Stone, Secretary General of PCLC Executive Committee, shared in his reflective response on how God’s sorrow over human corruption contrasted with the original goodness of creation, emphasizing that human beings—created as His most precious children—held the power to grieve Him. He also examined the symbolic meaning of the Fall, including the loss of God’s intended blessings for individuals and families, the shared responsibility of Adam and Eve, and the importance of partnership in overcoming temptation.

As part of its continuing mission, participants were invited to take part in upcoming initiatives: the Keys to the Kingdom Seminar Session 3 led by Dr. Robert Kittel on May 12, 2026, the 26th PCLC Online Fellowship on May 26, 2026, and the PCLC Youth Orphanage Visitation 2026 on April 25, 2026 at the House of Refuge Foundation Incorporated. These activities were presented as opportunities to foster sustained engagement, deepen community involvement, and put the founder’s teachings into meaningful practice.

The gathering drew to a close with a heartfelt prayer offered by Rev. Amir Azeem, Pastor of the Church of Pakistan, who expressed gratitude for the meaningful discussions and fellowship shared throughout the event, and offered blessings for all participants as they continue their spiritual journey. This was followed by a commemorative photo, capturing the sense of unity, reflection, and shared purpose that marked the conclusion of the gathering.
