Despite the heavy rain, our Blessed Families, brothers and sisters, youth, and children still gathered together for our Sunday Family Service at FFWPU Antipolo Family Church.

The Sunday message, “Who is the Real Me?”, was delivered by Rev. Edgar Tanate. He shared about the importance of knowing our true self, which is our spirit self. We were reminded that our spirit is eternal and that we need to continue growing in goodness through our relationship with God.

The Scripture readings from the Bible and the CIG Scriptures also reminded us that we should nourish not only our physical body but also our spiritual self. As Matthew 4:4 says, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

During the service, the HTG AP missionaries also officially introduced themselves to the Antipolo community. They shared that they will be serving and living in Antipolo as missionaries for one year. The community warmly welcomed them as part of our church family. After the service, we held our 3rd Community Pray-over for the Braganza Family. We prayed especially for the good health of their mother and for good weather for the upcoming wedding of their eldest son.

Overall, the Sunday Service was a meaningful time of worship, learning, welcoming, and prayer, reminding us to strengthen our faith and continue supporting one another as one community.
