The 13th Heavenly Asia Pacific Sung Hwa Youth Workshop unfolded its inspiring chapters from December 26, 2023, to January 1, 2024, bringing together 155 blessed children from 7 nations – Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, The Philippines, and the host nation, Thailand. The hybrid nature of the workshop, with 90 participants on-site and 65 joining online, allowed for a unique and inclusive experience.
The workshop revolved around the theme, “Becoming the Light of the World with a Filial Heart for Heaven,” emphasizing the journey of self-discovery, spiritual growth, and fostering a vibrant Blessed Children Holy Community. The HJ CheonBo Pak Chong Training Center and FFWPU Thailand Headquarters in Bangkok served as the nurturing grounds for the participants.
The comprehensive success of the 13th Heavenly Asia Pacific Sung Hwa Youth Workshop was further enriched by a lineup of distinguished speakers and contributors, elevating the spiritual and educational experience for the participants. Sunday Sermon by Dr. Robert Kittel, Cheon Eui Won Chair of the Asia Pacific Region, provided profound insights, guiding the blessed children on their spiritual journey. Additionally, Hon. Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, HPHC-FFWPU Regional Vice President of Asia Pacific, conducted a leadership workshop, imparting valuable insights to guide the future leaders among the blessed children. The main workshop lectures by Rev. Hajime Saito, Indochina Area Director, were a highlight, deepening the participants’ understanding of the Divine Principle and their faith. Under the guidance of Chief Workshop Coordinators Mr. Lam Cheng Hai and Mrs. Yeoh Koay Phing, Director of Blessed Children Department Asia Pacific, the workshop achieved seamless coordination. Their dedication contributed significantly to the warm atmosphere, ensuring each participant felt the love and support of the community.
The Hoon Dok Morning Devotion, testimonies about Blessing and life of faith, Cheon Shim Won Prayer Vigil Session, and team-building activities contributed to the holistic development of the blessed children, instilling in them values that would guide their journey of faith. Beyond intellectual and spiritual nourishment, the workshop included team-building exercises and cultural performances. These activities provided a platform for blessed children to connect with one another, practicing True Love by living for the sake of others. Through these events, they showcased their God-given talents and skills, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among participants from diverse backgrounds.
The success of the workshop was a testament to the dedication of leaders, staff, parents, and participants. Their collective efforts created an atmosphere of high spirits and overflowing love throughout the event. The leaders’ commitment to guiding the blessed children was evident, ensuring that each participant felt the warmth of the community and the love of Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
As the workshop concluded, 155 blessed children left with a profound understanding of their identity and strengthened relationships with Heavenly Parent and True Parents. They embraced the New Year with hearts full of gratitude, having attended Heavenly Parent and True Parents and connected heartistically with their brothers and sisters.
