The Future Generation Department (FGD) of FFWPU Philippines inaugurated the FGD Working Youth Center on October 28, 2025, located at 728 Cristobal Street, Sampaloc, Manila. This milestone represents an innovative initiative of FFWPU Philippines, envisioned to serve as the training and development hub for working youth across the country.
The Working Youth Center aims to form a core community of full-time and part-time young professionals who will contribute to national youth programs while receiving mentorship, job opportunities, and skill enhancement training. The project was inspired by the vision of Regional Director Rev. Ronnie Sodusta and was implemented by the FGD as a concrete step toward raising self-reliant, mission-driven young professionals.
Program Highlights
The opening ceremony began with a sanctification through Holy Salt, symbolizing the dedication of the center to Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Rev. Ronnie Sodusta led a heartfelt offering prayer, expressing hope that the center would become a birthplace of new working youth who are capable, faithful, and grounded in public mission.
Following the sanctification, Mr. Jun Young Teves, Director of the Future Generation Department, gave a congratulatory message, sharing Rev. Ronnie’s vision for the center as a foundation that unites both mission and profession. He emphasized that the Working Youth Center stands as a model of innovation for youth development, bridging faith formation and career building.
Mr. Rustom Gutierrez, newly appointed Center Leader, expressed his gratitude and determination to lead the center with sincerity. In his message, he pledged to raise professionals among both first and second-generation members and shared their collective commitment to financially support the nearby National Youth Witnessing Center (NYWC). He also announced the goal of establishing another witnessing center by 2026, expanding the department’s outreach and community-building capacity.
The event concluded with a joyful Eog Mansei led by Mr. Gutierrez, followed by a fellowship dinner prepared by youth leaders. The gathering reflected a strong sense of unity, purpose, and renewed enthusiasm among FGD members.
