The UPA x FFWPU Cebu Exchange Program commenced with a deeply moving Sunday Service held last June 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Cebu Family Church, bringing together members of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Cebu and the Universal Peace Academy (UPA) delegates. A heartfelt performance of “We Shall Achieve It” by the UPA delegates inspired the audience with hope and determination.

The highlight of the Sunday Service was the Sunday Sermon delivered by Mr. Seung Young Miles Fernandez, with the title “One with True Mother: Fulfilling Heaven’s Dream.” The sermon emphasized the importance of aligning with True Mother’s vision and becoming active participants in the providence.

Following this, Kang Su-hun offered a brief but impactful introduction to the Universal Peace Academy, explaining its mission, values, and training program. UPA delegate Bae Jeongwon then gave heartfelt personal testimony, sharing his journey of faith and transformation as one of the UPA Cadets.

The afternoon session was the heart of the exchange. The opening prayer was led by Ate Theresa Fujita, followed by an Opening Remarks from Ms. Yuri Yang, who warmly welcomed everyone and emphasized the purpose of the program: building lasting relationships through cultural and spiritual exchange.

A special performance by UPA energized the audience, showcasing both cultural pride and teamwork. This was followed by a “Getting to Know Each Other” activity, designed to foster friendship and mutual understanding between UPA delegates and local youth.

Mr. Seung Young Miles Fernandez returned with a Special Message titled “Becoming Pure Water for the World,” encouraging everyone to live with integrity, humility, and a heart of service. His words motivated the youth to embody purity and peace in their respective communities.

The participants then divided into breakout sessions for team sharing, where they engaged in meaningful discussions and reflections. This activity paved the way for a Brotherhood and Sisterhood Ceremony, symbolizing the deeper bonds formed between members from both groups.

The program closed with a heartfelt message from Rev. Romel Pinson, the Church Leader of Cebu Family Church, encouraging continued unity and spiritual growth. The final song, “One Big Family,” echoed the day’s theme of global unity and shared dreams. A final group photo was taken to commemorate the success of the event.

The UPA x FFWPU Cebu Exchange Program was a beautiful day of worship, learning, cultural sharing, and fellowship. It successfully deepened the spiritual connection and mutual understanding between the Universal Peace Academy and the FFWPU Cebu community. Through heartfelt messages, performances, and shared prayers, participants were reminded of their collective mission to fulfill Heaven’s dream and become leaders of peace for the world.
