Blessing Education for 2nd Generation

September 27, 2026 at Via Zoom Platform

On September 27, 2026, the Blessed Family Department (BFD) Philippines conducted the Level 2 Blessing Education for Second Generation via Zoom, with a total of 10 participants, composed of 4 Blessed Children, 2 Blessed Parents, and 4 BFD/Matching Supporters (MS). The program aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of the significance and value of the Blessing, guide them in preparing for the matching process, and strengthen unity and communication among candidates, parents, and Matching Supporters. The program was emceed by Ms. Flordeliza Carias, while Mrs. Catherine Gregorio, BFD Philippines Director, delivered the welcoming remarks.

The first main lecture, “The Significance and Value of the Blessing,” was presented by Mrs. Dulce Buyayo, Asia Pacific BFD Director. She explained the Blessing from the perspective of Heavenly Parent’s original ideal and the establishment of families centered on true love, life, and lineage. She also discussed the human fall, the providence of restoration, and the significance of True Parents and the Holy Blessing. Her presentation reminded participants that receiving the Blessing requires sincere internal preparation, education, commitment, and a deeper understanding of its spiritual and providential value.

Testimony

Recently Blessed Couple Mr. Takakira Ogai and Ms. Sungphil Nurlene Jumawan shared their testimony about their journey of preparation, matching, and receiving the Blessing. They spoke about the challenges they encountered, including cultural differences and communication barriers, while emphasizing faith, patience, self-reflection, and trust in Heavenly Parent’s guidance and timing. Their testimony encouraged the participants to see the matching journey not simply as finding the right person, but also as a valuable period for becoming a better person and strengthening their relationship with Heavenly Parent.

The second main lecture, “Blessing Preparation,” was delivered by Mrs. Yiesun Yashiro, Blessing4U Administrator for Asia Pacific. She provided practical guidance on strengthening one’s vertical relationship with Heavenly Parent, offering Jeongseong, developing a responsible lifestyle, fulfilling candidate qualifications, and preparing for the Parent Matching Process. She particularly emphasized the importance of unity and open communication between parents and candidates, developing a Family Matching Plan, and utilizing opportunities such as the Blessing4U website and Parent Matching Convocations. Participants were also reminded about the necessary application documents and preparations required as they move forward in the matching process.

The participants’ reflections showed that the education helped deepen both their spiritual understanding and practical knowledge of the Blessing. Ms. Himsen Faith Paray reflected that everyone should receive the Blessing to more perfectly mirror Heavenly Parent—not only in appearance, but also in heart, character, love, and actions. For her, mirroring Heavenly Parent means striving to embody unconditional love, compassion, patience, wisdom, and selflessness in relationships with others. Ms. Sachie Peñosa likewise shared that the seminar reminded her once again of the importance and value of the Blessing while giving her additional insights and a clearer understanding of how the matching process works.

Overall, the Level 2 Blessing Education provided participants with both spiritual inspiration and practical direction for their Blessing journey. The lectures, testimony, breakout discussions, and participants’ reflections reinforced the importance of personal preparation, sincere Jeongseong, family unity, and open communication throughout the matching process. Participants were encouraged to continue preparing internally, complete the requirements, communicate closely with their parents and Matching Supporters, and take the next steps toward future matching opportunities with greater understanding and confidence.
