On August 29, the Legacy of Love and Peace Exhibition was held at the Parnell Peace Embassy to commemorate the 14th Anniversary of the Holy Ascension of Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon. Sixteen participants gathered for an afternoon of reflection, music, video presentation, and fellowship, honoring his lifelong commitment to peace, interfaith harmony, family values, and humanitarian service. Following the opening remarks and official opening of the exhibition, guests were guided through the displays and given an opportunity to reflect on Rev. Moon’s enduring vision of “One Human Family Under God.” The opening address emphasized that lasting peace begins with right relationships, strong families, and a willingness to live for the sake of others.

The presence of community and civic representatives added significance to the occasion, highlighting the continuing relevance of this vision. The gathering also reaffirmed the ongoing efforts of UPF New Zealand and FFWPU New Zealand to promote interfaith cooperation, family values, community service, and peacebuilding across New Zealand and the wider Pacific region. The afternoon concluded with light refreshments and fellowship, providing a warm close to a meaningful commemoration.
