On August 16, 2026, the Metro Manila Family Church conducted its regular Sunday Service, attended by 97 participants physically, with hundreds of Blessed Families and brothers and sisters from Metro Manila and other local churches joining through Zoom.

The Sunday Service was graced by Rev. Froilan Matbagan Jr., Head Pastor of the Metro Manila Family Church, who delivered an inspiring message centered on the theme of becoming a resting place of God. Rev. Matbagan reminded the Blessed Families that in order for God to dwell within us, we must prepare our hearts to become a true temple where He can rest. He emphasized the importance of removing hatred, resentment, anger, and other negative feelings that may prevent us from fully experiencing God’s presence in our lives. His message deeply touched the hearts of the Blessed Families, encouraging everyone to reflect on their personal relationships and inner hearts. By letting go of resentment, choosing forgiveness, and cultivating love and peace, each person can become a dwelling place where God feels welcomed. The service became a meaningful opportunity for Blessed Families and brothers and sisters to renew their commitment to creating a peaceful and loving environment where Heavenly Parent can dwell and find rest in our hearts and families.
