The Blessed Family Department (BFD) Philippines successfully conducted the Starting Family 4.0 Seminar on June 13, 2026, via Zoom. The seminar was attended by 8 newly Blessed couples, together with Matching Supporters and BFD Staff, with a total of 25 participants. The program was organized to provide blessed couples with essential education, guidance, and practical insights to help them establish a strong foundation for their Blessed Family life centered on Heavenly Parent and True Parents.

The program commenced with an opening prayer, welcome remarks, and couple introductions, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere for all participants. Through the seminar, couples were given the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Blessing, family traditions, and their responsibilities as Blessed Families in the Era of Cheon Il Guk. 

The first session, “Responsibilities of Blessed Families in the Era of Cheon Il Guk (CIG),” was delivered by Mrs. Catherine Gregorio, National BFD Director. The lecture focused on helping participants understand the responsibilities and traditions of Blessed Families in the current providential era. Special emphasis was given to the significance of maintaining the Blessed Family tradition and inheriting the culture of heart within the family. The participants were also introduced to the Holy Items, their spiritual significance, and the proper way to utilize them in family life. Through this session, couples gained a deeper appreciation of the sacred traditions entrusted to Blessed Families and their role in establishing a God-centered home.

Dulce Buyayo, Asia Pacific BFD Director. The lecture provided a comprehensive understanding of the significance, value, and process of the Holy 3-Day Ceremony as an important component of the Blessing. Beyond explaining the ceremonial procedures, the speaker carefully guided participants in their internal preparation, emphasizing the importance of sincerity, mutual respect, spiritual readiness, and the sacred nature of entering married life as a Blessed Couple. The session enabled participants to better understand the deeper meaning of the ceremony and its role in establishing a marital relationship centered on God’s love. 

In the afternoon session, Pastor Julius Escleto delivered a lecture emphasizing the value and importance of the Blessing. He highlighted why Blessed Couples must protect and preserve the Blessing they have received and remain committed to creating a lineage centered on Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Through various examples and family case studies, he illustrated how the decisions, traditions, and values practiced by parents can influence the lives of future generations. The lecture underscored the importance of establishing a strong spiritual foundation within the family to ensure that the value of the Blessing is inherited and sustained from generation to generation.

The final session, “Growing Together Toward a Blessed Family Life,” was delivered by Rev. John Rhobdert Gregorio, Secretary-General of FFWPU Philippines. The lecture provided practical guidance for newly Blessed couples as they begin their journey together. Rev. Gregorio beautifully emphasized the importance of navigating married life step by step, encouraging couples to embrace each stage of family life with patience, understanding, love, and commitment. He reminded participants that a successful and joyful marriage is built through continuous growth, open communication, mutual support, and a shared commitment to God’s ideal for the family. 

The seminar also included discussion activities and reflection sessions that encouraged couples to communicate openly, appreciate one another, and envision their future together as Blessed Families. These activities allowed participants to internalize the lessons learned and apply them to their own family life.

Overall, the Starting Family 4.0 Seminar successfully equipped newly Blessed couples with valuable knowledge, spiritual guidance, and practical principles for building strong, healthy, and God-centered families. Through the lectures, discussions, and reflections, participants gained a deeper understanding of their responsibilities as Blessed Families and renewed their commitment to creating a lasting legacy of faith, love, and devotion to Heavenly Parent and True Parents for future generations.
