The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification-Philippines has successfully conducted the Unified Sunday Service last May 31, 2026 at the FFWPU Philippine HQ, Quezon City and via Zoom. The gathering was attended by a total of 1218 attendees both onsite and online The service marked the congregational culmination of the National Church Visitation and Moshim Workshop Gathering, a Pastoral Care initiative from the Philippine Regional Headquarters visiting 15 churches across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao and conduct visitation to the homes of blessed families and members. This initiative aimed to strengthen the national registration campaign (national database), connect with church leaders, and educate members about tithing and church donations.

The service was graced with heartfelt musical performances offered by the Heavenly Japan Public Officers of Cheon Il Guk, followed by the presentation of the Global Mission Recognition Awards from the World Mission Headquarters (WMHQ) to selected Philippine churches. A special moment of gratitude was also dedicated to the Faithful Stewards of Metro Manila Family Church, honoring their consistent devotion through tithes and offerings. The gathering carried profound meaning with the presence of Rev. Yutaka Yamada, Continental Director of FFWPU Asia Pacific; Rev. Julius Malicdem, Vice Continental Director of FFWPU Asia Pacific; and Rev. Ronnie D. Sodusta, Regional Director of the FFWPU Philippine Region, who delivered the Service sermon.

Continental Director Reverend Yutaka Yamada delivered a special message emphasizing the importance of the current Cheon Il Guk era, stressing that families must create a culture of love and true love through expressing affection to spouses, children, and parents. He highlighted the need for both individual spiritual growth and community building to fulfill Heavenly Parent’s dream of establishing a substantial nation. Afterward, a birthday video greeting from Asia Pacific leaders was showed expressing their felicitations to Rev. Yamada.
Moving to the heart of the Service, Philippine Regional Director Rev. Ronnie Sodusta offered a profound lecture on the sacred responsibility of passing faith from the first generation to the second. He reminded the congregation that true inheritance is not automatic, but calls each child to embrace their own spiritual responsibility rather than relying solely on parental devotion. With compassion as his guiding theme, Rev. Sodusta urged the community to welcome back inactive members with love instead of criticism, creating an inclusive Metro Manila Family Church where every soul finds belonging and renewal. He emphasized that mistakes must never become grounds for judgment, but opportunities to deepen faith and renew love for our Heavenly Parent and True Parents. In closing, he called all Blessed families to unity—empowering the younger generations, strengthening education, and uplifting role models—so that leadership is nurtured with respect and encouragement, and the church may shine as a beacon of faith, love, and harmony.

REFLECTION:
Rev. John Rhodbert Gregorio, Head Pastor, Metro Manila Family Church

During the Unified Sunday Service, I deeply felt the love of our Heavenly Parent and True Parents through the inspired guidance of Rev. Yutaka Yamada. His reminder to promote happy families resonated with me as a call to strengthen the bonds of love, joy, and gratitude within our homes. Truly, the family is the school of love, and his words renewed my determination to live faithfully as a Blessed Family.
I also reflected on the profound message of Rev. Ronnie Sodusta, who urged us to build a new era of Blessed Families centered on love. His guidance reminded us that our mission is not only to preserve the blessings we have received but to expand them, creating a culture of true love that can transform society. This vision of a new era is both a challenge and a promise a challenge to change our mindset and a promise of prosperity when we live centered on Heaven’s love.

As the Metro Manila Church thrives to become a model church, we are determined to bring all Blessed Families and members into unity. We are transitioning from the wilderness era into a new era of unity and prosperity. This transformation requires us to open the doors and windows of our church, welcoming new guests with warmth and sincerity, and testifying boldly to the life and works of our beloved Holy Mother Han. By doing so, we not only honor her legacy but also invite others to experience the joy of living in alignment with Heaven’s providence. In my heart, I longed for True Mother to be with us physically, joining this Unified Sunday Service. Yet, I believe her spirit was present, guiding and embracing us as we united in prayer and determination. Her vision for a world of peace and unity continues to inspire us, and her love strengthens our resolve to walk the path of filial devotion. This service was more than a gathering it was a profound moment of renewal. It reminded me that the path of Blessed Families is the path of love, unity, and hope. As we strive to become a model church, let us carry forward the spirit of this service, building a community where families thrive, guests are welcomed, and the works of True Parents shine brightly for all to see.
