On May 24, 2026, the youth members of Cebu Family Church gathered for a Youth Home Group Session aimed at strengthening their spiritual growth and unity as brothers and sisters under Heavenly Parent. The gathering was attended by 8 young people who came together in a warm and sincere atmosphere to share reflections, encouragement, and fellowship centered on God’s Word and principles of faith. The session was facilitated by Engr. Kathlene Mae Mandar, the Cebu Working Youth Coordinator.

The purpose of the session was to help the youth grow resiliently together as young people and as one family of faith. Through open discussion and reflection, the activity sought to deepen their understanding of God’s love and encourage them to practice genuine care, patience, and understanding toward one another in their daily lives.

The session focused on the message found in Bible, specifically 1 Corinthians 13:4, which emphasizes that love is patient and kind. Alongside this, participants also reflected on the teachings of the Divine Principle regarding true love, unity, and living for the sake of others.

A key point of reflection during the session centered on the understanding that God’s love for humanity can never be obstructed by any power within or between heaven and earth, including even hell itself. The participants reflected that all creation exists under God’s sovereignty, and therefore nothing within existence has the ability to block or overcome His absolute love. This realization helped the youth deepen their appreciation of God’s unwavering heart and His constant presence in their lives regardless of circumstances or personal struggles.

During the reflection sharing, participants expressed how this truth brings assurance and strength, especially during moments of doubt, difficulty, or misunderstanding. Many shared that recognizing the invincible nature of God’s love encourages them to trust more deeply, forgive more easily, and remain steadfast in their faith. The discussion also connected this understanding with the call of the Divine Principle to live aligned with God’s heart and to embody true love in daily life.

The atmosphere throughout the session was joyful, comforting, and deeply reflective. The youth actively participated in the discussion, listening attentively and sharing sincerely. Through the exchange of thoughts, the bonds among participants were strengthened, fostering greater unity and mutual understanding within the group.

The core message of the session emphasized that true resilience as young people comes from anchoring their lives in God’s unbreakable love and living according to His Word. Participants were reminded that spiritual growth is strengthened when they trust in God’s absolute love and practice patience, kindness, and unity in their relationships.

As the gathering concluded, the participants left with renewed assurance and inspiration, strengthened by the realization of God’s unstoppable love. They committed themselves to continue growing together in faith, resilience, and unity as one family under Heavenly Parent.
