The 3rd session of the 1-Year Dedication Program organized by the Asia Pacific Blessed Family Department for the 2025 Blessed Couples was successfully conducted via Zoom on February 22, 2026. A total of 33 participants from the Philippines, including BFD leaders and matching supporters, joined the meaningful gathering. The session marked the culmination of a year-long journey of guidance, reflection, and preparation for married life.
The program began with an inspiring opening message from Asia Pacific BFD Director, Mrs. Dulce Buyayo, who warmly encouraged the couples to continue nurturing their commitment and faith as they prepare for family life. This was followed by a lecture from Rev. Julius B. Malicdem, Vice Continental Director of the Asia Pacific Region, entitled “Building a Common Vision for Married Life.” In his message, he emphasized that a strong marital vision is rooted in clarity, energy, purity, unity, and the shared victory of the couple as they build their relationship with dedication and love. He highlighted that the number one key to harmony in marriage is learning to accept and respect each other’s differences and uniqueness.
The participants were deeply moved by the heartfelt testimony of the Thai-Filipino couple, Mr. & Mrs. Raweethewath and Editha Srisutisa-ard. They shared their personal journey of overcoming differences in expectations and cultural backgrounds, demonstrating how patience, communication, and mutual understanding can strengthen marital bonds.
The second lecture was delivered by Mrs. Yiesun Yashiro, Administrator of the B4U Website, Asia Pacific, on the topic of “Practical Preparation for Family Life.” She provided concrete and practical guidance for couples preparing to live together, including navigating language and cultural differences, managing household responsibilities, handling finances wisely, and planning for future children. She emphasized that love must always remain at the center of building a harmonious home, especially one centered on Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
Following the lectures, an interactive question-and-answer portion allowed participants to clarify important concerns and gain deeper insight. This was followed by breakout sessions where couples shared reflections within their trinity groups. These discussions fostered deeper connection, mutual encouragement, and thoughtful consideration of their vision for marriage and financial planning for the next stage of their journey.
In conclusion, the 1-Year Dedication Program has provided not only guidance but also a strong spiritual and practical foundation for the 2025 Blessed Couples. More than just a series of lectures, it has become a meaningful space for growth, unity, and renewed commitment. As the couples move forward into married life, they carry with them a clearer vision, strengthened faith, and the shared determination to build families centered on love, harmony, and God.
