The Chingu Day “Pepero Making” Event was held on November 9, 2025, at the National Youth Witnessing Center, Sampaloc, Manila, organized in collaboration with the Heavenly Top Gun (HTG) and the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU). The event aimed to promote friendship, cultural appreciation, and unity among participants through the celebration of Pepero Day, a popular Korean tradition that symbolizes love and friendship.

The program began with a talk on the Four Great Realms of Heart delivered by Seung Young Miles Fernandez, setting a reflective tone about the importance of relationships centered on love. This was followed by a lecture on the meaning and origins of Pepero Day and a hands-on Pepero-making demonstration by Kim Kana of HTG Korea. Participants learned how to make Pepero, long biscuit sticks coated with chocolate and decorated with various toppings such as sprinkles, nuts, and crushed cookies. The activity encouraged creativity, joy, and teamwork as participants made Pepero for one another to express friendship and appreciation.

After creating their own Pepero, participants joyfully shared and exchanged them while enjoying conversations and laughter, symbolizing the giving and receiving of love among friends. The atmosphere was warm and cheerful, filled with smiles and heartfelt connections. The event concluded with a group photo that captured the joyful and family-like spirit of the gathering.

The Chingu Day celebration served as a meaningful opportunity to deepen understanding of Korean culture while fostering international friendship, gratitude, and shared values among the youth, strengthening bonds of heart across nations through simple yet heartfelt gestures of giving and love.
